ME PARTO LA "CHRISTMA": 1.- EELS

Diciembre es sinónimo de Navidad... Ayyy (suspiro). Tiempo de inundar nuestras mentes con caducas "mentalidades ONG" para pasar el antivirus sobre nuestra conciencias... Tiempo de ponernos de nuevo los "trajes de protocolo" para saludar con una gran sonrisa a personas con las que simplemente compartes el apellido... Tiempo de echar de menos a gente que durante todo año ni te has percatado de que existían... Y, cómo no, tiempo de los putos villancicos... aburridos y repetitivos. Y a todas horas, y en todos sitios... y siempre los mismos. Así que este mes, cojo esto de la Navidad como excusa para hacer un repaso a esos otros "villancicos", canciones sacadas de la manga por genios en la materia.

Y empezamos por este "Christmas is going to the dogs" del grupo Eels. Sacada de una cara B del 2000, tiene acordes típicamente navideños sin dejar de ser una canción 100% de las anguilas. Y es que el mensaje está claro: la Navidad está hecha para los perros; se les deja estar dentro de casa, que duerman cerca de la chimenea, que sueñen que persiguen conejos en la nieve. Cuando se despierten se llevarán una gran sorpresa y buscarán a su amo porque, en el fondo, son ellos (somos nosotros) su mejor regalo.

Luego vendrá el verano... pero esto ya no viene aqui. :-P
