ME PARTO LA "CHRISTMA": 7.- RAMONES

Estamos en 1989. Y los Ramones, como siempre, transportándonos a aquellos finales de los 70. Es el punk y es el rock en perfecta armonía. Fue el grupo que se hizo un hueco a codazos entre todo lo que se estaba intentando inventar por aquellos años 80 para que gente como yo, legos en la materia, viese en ellos una alternativa válida; un apartarme de los cánones establecidos. Canciones enérgicas, mensajes claros. Unos genios. Unos clasicos.

De ellos, cómo no, está este "Merry Christmas (i dont wanna fight tonight)", sacado del album "Brain Drain" (uno además, es un enamorado de esa portada...). La canción resume lo que son estos días. Joey, Dee Dee y compañía nos dicen que no nos engañemos; que no somos felices todo el año, que todos tenemos rencillas y malos rollos cada día... pero que hoy es Navidad. Hoy quiero dejar todo eso aparte... Hoy no quiero luchar; "la Navidad no es momento para romperle el corazón a los demás"; eso sí, mañana será otro día...
