CANCIONES PARA UN LUNES: "Baba O´Riley" (THE WHO)

1971. Primera canción del disco "Who´s next" de los Who. El título hace referencia a la influencia filosófica de Meher Baba y a la musical de Terry Riley. Canción también conocida como "Teenage wasteland", aunque de manera erronea.

Canción que suele abrir los conciertos de Pearl Jam; versioneada por artistas de la talla de los propios Pearl Jam, Nirvana, They might be giant... hasta Deluxe.

Canción que aparece en películas como "Fever Pitch", "Summer of Sam", "Casi famosos" y en series como "House", "My name is Earl" o "CSI:New York"

Canción del lunes. Comienza como un despertador para ir animándote poco a poco. Hacia mitad canción, hay una parte instrumental que, pal que esto escribe, le evoca los títulos de crédito de la serie "Carnivále", tarot de nuestras vidas. En fin, a disfrutarla este lunes que buena falta nos hace; es una obra maestra. :-)
